More than Peanuts & Cracker Jacks: The Benefits of Playing Little League Baseball
Spring is headed our way, and for many families with young kids, that means that its time to pull out the baseball mitts, bats and helmets. Little league baseball is somewhat like a right of passage in Americana culture. I remember playing as a kid and I loved it. I distinctly remember not being able to wait to get to practices and games every week.
As an adult now, I can look back and see some awesome benefits to participating in that type of team activity. Besides the benefit of real exercise, little league sports teach children…
- Teamwork
- Responsibility
- Communication
- Social skills
If you or you’re child are interested, check out these two little leagues in the Roswell area. While teams fill up fast, there may still be spots available to get your child involved for the Spring 2010 season!
